Randy Siegel was a husband, father, physician, and to everyone who knew him, always a kid at heart. His wife Corinne, who he has known since age five, has said if Randy was a place it would be Jefferson Lakes Day Camp. Randy spent his life reveling in being a husband to Corinne (a fellow Jeff Lakes camper) and father to his daughters Emily and Sarah. Outside of his family life he touched many other children's lives as a physician at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital by making a difficult diagnosis or operation a little bit brighter by playing games with his patients, showing them their favorite movie on his iPad during a procedure, or just by being his goofy self. He had that special spark of a child for all of the years of his life.

Randy was diagnosed with cancer in November 2006 and throughout his illness continued to provide care to his patients and share his uplifting optimism to all those who new him. He passed away on March 3, 2012 surrounded by his loved ones.

Randy would have loved to give the gift of lifelong Jefferson Lakes memories to others. To keep his memory alive and to continue his legacy and support of the camp, we ask his friends and family to donate to his Memorial Scholarship Fund which will provide for one child each summer to receive a scholarship for the camp.
